I joined in on a campsite with some other folks that came down from Delaware.  Our location is at the Bikeline canopy.  My open tailgate is to the left of the canopy.

Three guys I shared the campsite with.  They were all in tents.  They had ridden the past week at Dupont Forest and Pisgah Forest in North Carolina and 2 areas inthe Tampa area

The ticket provided for breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning, showers, and dinner Saturday night catered with a Cuban flair … Yucca plant, plantains, rice and beans, barbequed chicken and pulled pork, apple and peach coddler.  Here is the screen set up for Saturday night movies (bike porn as we refer to it).  One of the shower trucks can be seen in the background.

All in all a great venue, OMBA’s (Ocala Mountain Bike Association) Santos tenth annual.  Singletracks magazine this year named the 50 mile Santos Trail System 14th in the world.  Unfortunately I was not able to photo enough of the good technical trails here.

  1. Bob, looks like an awesome gathering of like minded folks. Loved seeing the kids out there on the trail. Need some food pics next time so we can almost smell that peach cobbler for those of us that could not make it. Thanks for sharing! Steve Silva

  2. Great photos and commentary, Bob! I commented on your blog but not sure it posted. You look fantastic and it’s so great to see you having fun and enjoying yourself. Saw this first photo on Joyce’s Facebook page so knew you were down there. Now it’s fun seeing “the rest of the story”.

Happy future adventures to you! Thanks for keeping in touch.
